JJC:    We've made you money off war...  We've made you money off death...  We've made you money off pestilence...   Tonight, we're going to try to make you money off famine...  Yeah, the whole fourth horseman of the apocolypse...

We've got new guys to hook our hat on... and you know them, but we've decided to organize them tonight, because they're under assault.

It's the 'Fab Five' of agriculture... Mosaic (MOS), Potash (POT), Agrium (AGU), Monsanto (MON), and Deere (DE).

Now, you know I've talked endlessly on this show... aobut how our ethanol subsidies have turned agriculture into a federally-mandated bull market while, at the same time, crucifying mankind upon a cross of ethanol...

But I haven't focused so much on the global famine angle...  which has been just as big a driver of the ag stocks, if not a bigger one...  And you're going to have to keep it in mind, because this group's about to take a hit...

See, it's especially important to mention beyond ethanol, because the ethanol story had cracks in it today...

Just today, Cargill, a big industrial agricultural company suspended plans to build a $200-million ethanol plant, and the ag stocks went down all day, despite oil going up...  That's an important disconnect we haven't seen.

But the major thing here, the major point... is that ethanol isn't the only story...

So, as people give up on it, because of ethanol, I want you to be thinking about famine too.   And this plant cancellation gives us an opportunity to talk about the other really horrible side.

.  .  .  .  .

I want to talk about the group tonight, because you are going to hear, over the next few days, that the group is finished, over, ka-put... because of the Cargill plant cancellation.   And because crop price increases - part of the driver here - have just gotten so sky-high that they can't go higher...

I want you to steel yourself, so that you can get back in, when the momentum smoke clears... and I am warning you that the selloff is going to occur, so I need you ready to get back in...  because famine - horribly, sadly - isn't going away, just because Cargill isn't building an ethanol plant, because the economics are bad...

.  .  .  .  .

The Bottom Line!:      If you want to do something to stop the famine, buy my 'Fab Five' of ag... Mosaic (MOS), Agrium (AGU), Potash (POT), Deere (DE) and Monsanto (MON), and donate your profits to the U.N. World Food Program.  And, if you just want to make money, get ready for this ethanol glut story that you're going to hear over the next three days, and put the money to work in the Fab Five, as they go down...  and keep the profits for yourself.

Jim's comments BEFORE Interview
:      I want to tell you a story... I'm going to tell you a story about how business really works in this country, okay...

Let's say that there's an alleged scandal about a company...  someone's coming out and saying something negative...  even if he's a convicted felon...  it's got a bad story about a company, challenging the company's ethics...   Do you know what most CEOs do when they hear that story?...  They huddle with their lawyers... and then they get under the desk... they hide!  They're not going to come on TV... Oh, no... That would expose them!...

Well, how about if there's someone who makes an exception?...  A guy who comes right on Mad Money... says the charges are nonsense... believes in his company... says the company's going to be buying back stock to take advantage of it...

What do you do with a guy like that?...   I tell you what you do... you stand behind him!  Buy, buy, buy!...   like we did on Mad Money!...

When Herbalife (HLF) was at $37, Michael Johnson, the chairman and CEO of HLF, a company whose products I have tried...   These are energy, weight management... they do a lot for you...   He came on our show and said the charges are nonsense, and you should believe... and the company is going to do well.  They just reported...  The stock is now up 8 straight bucks from when he came on...  When he showed guts... probably defied his lawyers...  all the people...  because he's a man of truth, and he's got a product that is blowing the doors out of the joint...

Michael Johnson... welcome back to Mad Money!...

.  .  .  .  .

Jim's comments AFTER Interview:      You are a good man!  You are a moneymaker!  You can come on anytime you want!...  The stock roaring after the close!... Money!... Money!... You're looking at it...

A Charitable Trust stock. - An asterisk next to a stock symbol indicates that Jim mentioned it is a stock that he manages within
his charitable trust portfolio.  You can see the complete portfolio
of stocks here >>

Thumbs up - indicates he would buy the stock or, at the very least, not sell the stock.  We do our best to interpret Jim's opinion on stocks, as we think it is indicated by his comments during the show.  Please read his comments to decide for yourself.

Thumbs down - indicates he has said not to buy or to sell the stock, based on his comments  We do our best to interpret Jim's opinion on stocks, as we think it is indicated by his comments during the show.  Please read his comments to decide for yourself.

Back up the truck - indicated by Jim, when he says the stock is so good, that he would do a 'mon-back' on the stock... In other words, this is the sound someone would say to a truck driver, "Come on back... " as he is "backing up the truck" to load up on his cargo.  Translation for buying stocks:  This recommendation by Jim indicates that, after you do your own homework on the stock, you should feel comfortable loading up on it, as it is in a good position to be bought at this point.

Stumped. - Of the 2,000+ stocks that Jim Cramer has in his head, for which he has an informed opinion, he sometimes comes across a caller with a stock he does not know well enough to opine on...  He then indicates he is stumped and will have to come back to it, after he does some homework of his own on the stock.  This usually occurs during the Lightning Round, when Jim does not know in advance who is calling, or what their stock question is about.

Definitions of key phrases used by Jim, known as "Cramerisms":

Definition:   'Pull the trigger' is Jim's phrase for making the decision at that point to trade - either to 'buy' or to 'sell' (although he usually uses the phrase for buying), as if to say you should feel comfortable enough to make the final decision without looking back...

Definition:   'Ring the Register' is Jim's phrase for selling a stock, and making it a final sale, that you should not look back on.  Put it behind you.

Definition:  'Let It Come In' indicates how you may wait for it to pull back, or have the stock price come down briefly, as your chance (after letting it come in) to buy the rest of your position (i.e., total number of shares you own in that stock).

Definition:  'backing it up' or 'doing a 'mon-back' is Jim's phrase for the metaphor of backing up a truck to load up on a stock by buying it.  'Mon-back is short for the imaginary worker saying, 'Come on back...' as the truck is backing up to receive its load... Notice that we use the little truck icon to indicate where Jim has mentioned this.  Translation for buying stocks:  This recommendation by Jim indicates that, after you do your own homework on the stock, you should feel comfortable loading up on it, as it is in a good position to be bought at this point.
