Allscripts Healthcare
Solutions Inc. (MDRX)
Jim: People are saying that this is the single most logical Obama play. I've been trying to do others. Obama is about taking out the excess cost in the system. That's what they're about. I think it's a winner. I know it's up that huge amount... We ought to have that CEO back, that guy we have on all the time... none of those other shows can touch 'em...

HXL |
9.43 |
Hexcel Corp. (HXL)
Jim: Yeah, it has (been taking a beating)... Well, let's go back... I've been reading the message boards, where they want to shoot me, or kill me, or find me, or beat me... I mean, the latest one that I've done wrong is that I said I got it wrong when it went $48... was
Boeing (BA)... I had no idea, nor did anyone else in the world, that this Boeing Dreamliner 787 wasn't going to fly. Of course, it is my fault... Hexcel is part of the Boeing family and, therefore, it's going to have delayed earnings... I believe, because Boeing can't build it... Once again, I read the message boards... Why can't Boeing build the Dreamliner?... Cramer!

FO |
33.71 |
Fortune Brands (FO)
Jim: I personally think that Fortune Brands is probably 3-4 points overvalued. I think the quarter's going to be bad again. Why is that?... besides Cramer... I feel that what is happening there is that the pastiche of businesses is not working this time... The golf thing's not working... oh finally, that U.S. Open thing ended... can you believe how much ink that was wasted on?... The Jim Beam division... people aren't going out and spending a lot of money on wine... You've got the housing business that has not turned yet... just the stability in housing... not the new housing units... We got some new housing numbers today... remember, we don't care about that on Mad Money... we care about existing homes... But all of this bodes poorly for Fortune Brands, FO... Uh uh, I'm not pulling the trigger!

CENX |

Century Aluminum Co. (CENX)
Jim: You know what I'm going to have to do? I'm going to have to do work on Century Aluminum... I'll tell you why... It kind of dropped off my radar screen when it went down below $5 bucks... Everyone knows that I can't stand
Alcoa, Inc. (AA)... No, we're going to do some work on that before I check off on that thing.

YUM |
32.57 |
Yum! Brands (YUM)
Jim: I happen to own that stock myself. And why is that? Because I have it for
my charitable trust,
ActionAlertsPlus.com, because I think the earnings are going to be good. Now there's a big speculation tomorrow that there could be disappointment, because they're changing the name of Pizza Hut to just "Hut"... so they could sneak some other things in there, because people don't think that pizza's doing that well... I think that we should have Mr. Novak on, unless he's already booked on another show... But I remind you that I think YUM is a great long-term situation, even though Rick "Top Gun Trader" Bensignor doesn't like it, and keeps throwing it to me... and it doesn't do anything. I think it's cheap. I think it's a China play... I like YUM. I could have egg all over my face but, remember, if the stock does report a good number, just like the fact that Boeing can't build a Dreamliner... we know who's fault it is... the fault is Cramer...
*Note: Yum Brands is a
key holding in Jim Cramer's
Charitable Trust Portfolio,

Please note our
anticipated schedule
for
posting these recaps:
Because we view each
episode after it airs at
6pm Eastern time, we need
time to compile the
comments, code the pages
and post to the site,
thereby, we're usually
able to post each night's
episode
prior to the market open
(i.e., 9:30am) the
following business day.
Thank you! |
