Full Company Name & Jim's Comments:

JNJ

60.22

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)

Jim:   No, no, no...  I sold it for my charitable trust so that I could move into something that had more yield... which is Bristol-Myers (BMY*), because it's got a 6% yield.  I like Bristol-Myers, and I like that guy Cornelius... I think he's doing a terrific job at Bristol. I like the yield. But, you know what?  I shouldn't have sold JNJ.  It's just that I wanted to make a swap.  I often talk about that.  I get into something that may have a little less beta, that has a little more dividend... JNJ is fine.  It's a really well-run company. I think Mr. Walton is terrific.  He's always welcome on the show.  Please, don't take my decision to swap out of JNJ into Bristol to mean that I say, sell, sell, sell...  It just means that I like Bristol-Myers more.

TEN

16.25

Tenneco Inc. (TEN)

Jim:   Now, this is a difficult one, because every one of these companies has flown...  and these are auto part companies,  BorgWarner Inc. (BWA), Tenneco...  I think the move has peaked for the moment.  As a matter of fact, I want to ring the register.  I think we're late in the auto parts game.

BWA

31.05

BorgWarner Inc. (BWA)

See TEN comments above for:
BWA

ADM

28.49

Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM)

Jim:   They had a good quarter, and I will take that opportunity to sell... sell, sell, sell!  I think this is a company that really doesn't know what it wants.  I think it wants ethanol legislation.  It doesn't seem to do...  You know what I'll do?  Hey, let me do this...  Bunge (BG) was down $4.80 today, because they're doing an equity offering.  Let's buy some Bunge, not Archer Daniels.

BG

66.04

Bunge (BG)

See ADM comments above for:
BG

NWS

12.75

NEWS CORP (NWS)

Jim:   I think News Corp... I don't like media companies... The only media company I'm recommending right now is Time Warner Cable Inc. (TWC), because it's almost all cable.  This one's had a really nice move.  Mr. Murdoch and I have, at one time or another, have sparred.  I want to be completely up front about that.  I think he's done a great job.  It's just that I don't like media companies.  I do like his... I read his publication every day.  I watch the...  I just can't recommend it.

TWC

34.11

Time Warner Cable Inc. (TWC)

See NWS comments above for:
TWC

ATI

28.95

Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI)

Jim:   Oh...   Here's the good news.  The good news is that they reported a bad quarter and a guide down, and the stock didn't get hammered.  The bad news is, I cannot think of a reason in the world to recommend that stock until the (Boeing (BA)'s) Dreamliner is going to be able to ship, because they make a lot of the titanium for the Dreamliner.  So ATI... don't buy, don't buy... and, remember, that was my Stock Of The Year in 2006.  It was the #1 name in the S&P 500.  We picked the stock of the year...

HAR

27.25

Harman International (HAR)

Jim:   You just had a big run off of some takeover talk.  I've got to tell you... that company was actually going to be bought out at a much higher price.  I do not... this is actually just an auto parts play right now... I'm not kidding... they make a lot of the stereo systems in cars...  I think it's up too much...  Sell, sell, sell...  I would buy it back at $20.  I think you got a good gain.  I can't put you in something that's gone up so much.  That wouldn't be prudent.

Price target to buy HAR again:  $20.00

BAC

15.85

Bank of America (BAC*)

Jim:   BAC?  I'm reloading... I'm charged up here.  I think the stock probably...  All of the sudden, everybody's selling the bank stocks... Wow, really scary...  Let me tell you how these move work... There was a move from $3 to $4.  Then it consolidated.  Then there was a move from $10 to $12, then it consolidated.  Then there was a move from $12 to $16.  It's consolidating!  Here's what I would do...  I would be a buyer of Bank of America... some right here, as I own it for ActionAlertsPlus.com, my charitable trust... and then wait until it gets to $13, and I would pull the trigger again...  I want a full position based on a $14 (cost) basis, if you follow my direction.

Next target point to buy BAC:  $13.00
Cost basis target for full position:  $14.00
