Full Company Name & Jim's Comments:

PCLN

204.22

Priceline.com Inc. (PCLN)

Jim:   Priceline is like Netflix, Inc. (NFLX), which also hit a 52-week high today… this is a cold stock, not unlike Green Mountain Coffee, another cold stock that is due to report… when I say cold, what I mean is that the customers love it but the short sellers bet against it… so you have this incredible upside surprise, the shorts then cover… that is almost 10% I believe, 10% of that bloat is short… I still like it… if I owned it I would actually hold it.. I do not recommend buying stocks that are up 30 points in one day.. .but I think Priceline even down 10 points… buy, buy, buy… this company has a great business model.

ELN

6.28

Elan Corp. plc (ELN)

Jim:   You know Elan is the stack of the pharmaceutical business… I just don’t like it… the company has got a lot of problems… I have some fantastic, some fantastic growth stocks that I own for ActionAlertsPlus.com, my charitable trust… I have got Gilead (GILD*) which has got Tamiflu… I have got the Bristol-Myers (BMY*) that has the yield… you need one or the other, you need great growth or you need yield… Elan has neither.

GILD*

46.81

Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD*)

See ELN comments above for:
GILD

BMY*

23.34

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (BMY*)

See ELN comments above for:
BMY

C

4.18

Citigroup (C)

Jim:    Hey, your age is right… you know why?… because I am using a $12 price target in the year 2012 for Citi… now remember we have got to get the government selling its share… they own 34% of it… that has been a big overhang… I am a big believer in Vic Pandit… he is spinning off the Primerica… I think that ultimately he is going to bring up value… you have got $5.60 book value… I think it should trade to that… ultimately book value builds.. I think that you have got a great stock to own… Is it as good as Bank of America (BAC*)? no if they pick Monahan… is it as good as Wells Fargo (WFC*)?  No, that is another one that I own for my trust… no it is not as well run… but Citigroup makes sense for any 28-year-old that is watching the show.

BAC*

16.03

Bank of America (BAC*)

See C comments above for:
BAC

WFC*

28.10

Wells Fargo (WFC*)

See C comments above for:
WFC*

BUCY

53.24

Bucyrus (BUCY)

Jim:   Well, you know Bucyrus is one of those companies like Joy Global, if you ask anyone you know that we have believed the whole way… how many times have we had Tim Sullivan on?… how many times have we had the Joy Global CEO on?… we believe in these companies… they are not done going up… you have got it at a 52 week high… these stocks tend to give up a couple of points intra day… because the bears come swarming… and then you can buy more… these are plays on giant earth moving machines which are moving coal in China… go listen to Joy Global’s transcript from when they spoke last week at Goldman Sachs… half of their business is in China… China is just doing business like mad… and that is why Bucyrus still works.

RIG

88.50

Transocean Inc. (RIG)

Jim:   Well, what does this tell you… Transocean reported a disappointing quarter… nobody liked it.. the last quarter was disappointing nobody liked it… I said stick with it and it had a monster run.. I am telling you to stick with Transocean… Why?… For a simple reason, Transocean is deep water drill… It is not as good, by the way, and not as cheap as Weatherford International Ltd. (WFT*), which I have been buying for the trust… Weatherford, also deep ocean… but Transocean better get its act together and start giving back some money… we could use a hefty dividend there.

WFT*

18.57

Weatherford International Ltd. (WFT*)

See RIG comments above for:
WFT*

WTS

30.57

Watts Water Technologies, Inc. (WTS)

Jim:   We like Watts, we did recommend it ahead of a bad quarter… but this is water regulation… it is the only water stock that I have been recommending… and remember, I think that most of them cannot make money… this one can make money… I would buy it… I would pull the trigger right here…I would stay with it if you own it.
